We consider the layout, escape routes, racking and working areas alongside relevant fire-safety information. Where storage, partitions or equipment positions change, we review the affected lighting and coordinate with your responsible person or fire risk assessor where required.
Manual-test and self-test systems
We install and maintain both types. For self-test equipment, we explain how indicators are checked and how faults and results are recorded. Automatic testing still requires oversight, maintenance and action when a fault is identified.
Routine testing and records
CRS offers monthly functional checks and annual full-duration testing within an agreed maintenance arrangement. Timing includes consideration of the battery recharge period. Results, defects and access limitations are recorded.
Fault finding, repairs and upgrades
We investigate failed fittings, charging faults and testing arrangements. Repairs may include suitable batteries, luminaires, exit signs or wiring. Obsolete equipment and replacement options are explained before proceeding.
Documentation and handover
We provide records of testing and work undertaken, with certification appropriate to installation work. Emergency lighting can be arranged separately or alongside industrial lighting upgrades and maintenance.
