A rewire planned around your home

CRS carries out full and partial rewires for homeowners, landlords and property renovations. We assess the existing installation and explain the work needed. Socket positions, lighting, appliance supplies and distribution are planned around how you use the property.

Electrical work planned around you

We take time to understand your needs, budget and concerns. We explain the options, agree priorities and keep you informed. Anything affecting cost, timescale or disruption is discussed so you can make an informed decision.

Staying at home during a rewire

We discuss furniture, floor coverings, access and rooms affected at each stage. Rewiring involves dust, openings in floors and walls and power interruptions. We explain the sequence and agree supply arrangements. Whether remaining at home is practical depends on the property and scope and is assessed at survey.

Rewiring an empty property

For vacant homes and renovations, we coordinate with the refurbishment programme and other trades. Positions and future requirements are agreed before installation, helping decisions happen before plastering and decorating.

What can be included?

The agreed package can include replacement circuits, lighting and switching, sockets, appliance supplies and consumer-unit work. We discuss additional requirements and future provision rather than assuming every home needs the same specification.

What affects the price?

Property size, circuit requirements, access, finishes, occupancy, chosen accessories and making good affect the scope. We survey and quote for the actual work, clarifying inclusions and exclusions. Changes are discussed and agreed before proceeding.

Testing and handover

Completed installation work is inspected and tested, with appropriate certification provided. We explain operation, circuit identification and any outstanding work.
